Q. Do you accept customer files for printing?
A. Yes, we do accept customer files for printing and we also have an experienced staff to help customers to provide everything necessary for smooth completion of the job.

Q. What platforms and software packages do you accept?
A. We accept both MacIntosh and PC Platforms. Listed below are the software packages we support:

Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Pagemaker
Corel Draw
InDesign
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Powerpoint

Q. How do you accept files?
A. Files can be provided on CD, Zip disk, Jazz disk, or floppy disk. Files can also be e-mailed to Farley Printing. If you wish to email a file please direct it to Linda Butler in our customer service/preflight department at lbutler@farleyprinting.com. File can also be uploaded directly through our web page. Just click on the file transfer button on our home page and follow the instructions.

Q. What should be included when submitting files for printing?
A. When submitting files we need a number of items.

  1. The work file itself.
  2. All linked graphics files that were placed into the file.
  3. All fonts that were used in the file; if using Postscript fonts, both the screen and printer font must be supplied.

Q. How do I get a quote/estimate?
A. There are 3 ways to submit information for getting a quotation.

  1. You can go to our estimate page and fill out our form and send it to Farley;
  2. You can e-mail the specifications for your job;
  3. You can also call and talk to either your sales representative, or customer service.

Q. What type of information do you need to generate an estimate/quote?
A. In order to give a firm quote on your job, the following information must be supplied.

  1. What the piece to be quoted on is, i.e., postcard, newsletter, etc.
  2. Quantity needed
  3. What size will it be, flat and finished if necessary.
  4. What kind of stock will you need, weight, type and color, i.e., 60 lb. Gloss coated white text, or 65 lb. Uncoated blue cover.
  5. How many inks on each side?
  6. How will the copy be supplied? Hard copy and Farley to generate a file or will you supply the file on disk?
  7. Will the file on disk be ready for output to film?
  8. Will there be any binding, i.e., folding, drilling, stitching?
  9. Any special instructions, i.e., numbering, perfect binding, etc.
  10. What kind of a turnaround are you looking for?

The information above is the basic information we need to give you a firm quote on your job.

Q. Where are you located and how do I get there.
A. Farley Printing Company is located in the Christina Gateway section of Wilmington. We are conveniently located off I95 and I495 at:

From Southbound I95:
Take the US-202 S/Concord Pike exit, exit number 8A, towards Wilmington. Merge onto Concord Pike, which will become Concord Ave. At the intersection of Concord Ave. and North Market St. go through the light. This puts you on Vandever Ave. Approximately 1/4 mile on the right will be Farley Printing Company. It is a grey building with a dark red stripe sitting on the right side.

From Northbound I95:
Go through Wilmington and take the US-202 S/Concord Pike exit, coming back towards Wilmington onto Concord Pike, which will become Concord Ave. At the intersection of Concord Ave. and North Market St. go through the light. Approximately 1/4 mile on the right will be Farley Printing Company. It is a grey building with a dark red stripe sitting on the right side.

From Northbound I495
Exit I95 at the I495 exit. Follow I495 until you come to the 12th Street Exit. Take the 12th Street exit and at the end of the exit ramp you will make a left turn. Follow this road until you come a light at Northeast Boulevard. Make a right onto Northeast Boulevard, traveling to the next light at which you will make a left onto Vandever Avenue. You will travel seven blocks on Vandever Ave. ( 3 lights, a stop sign and 2 more lights) until you come to Farley Printing Company which will sit on the left side of the street one more block from the last light. It Is a gray building with a dark red stripe.
