Farley Printing Company is a family owned and operated business. Established in 1973 by founder Joseph P. Farley, Sr., the company initially focused on publishing and advertising. With the acquisition of Knebels Press in 1977, a concerted effort was made to energize and develop the commercial printing division, while the publishing and advertising activities were phased out.

In 1982, the company moved to expanded facilities on the Riverfront, investing in additional staff and equipment to meet the needs of a growing business.

In 1983, Farley Printing Company negotiated its first collective bargaining agreement with Local 322C of the Wilmington Pressman’s Union, Graphic Communications International Union. That relationship has continued without disruption to the present, and Farley Printing Company has established itself at its position as a premier “union shop,” with special expertise in serving governmental, labor, industrial, and political clients.

In May of 2002 the company expanded again with the completion of the move to it’s new location in the Christina Gateway area. Additional staff and equipment have again been added for continued growth.

Today the company is owned and operated by Rosemary P. Farley. Farley Printing Company is recognized by the State of Delaware and City of Wilmington as a Woman Owned Business. Farley Printing Company is a minority contractor and as such satisfies purchasing requirements for businesses seeking to work with minority contractors.
