Farley Printing Company 34 - Wolfpack 6

Missing their starting quarterback, two starting receivers and their starting rusher would make most teams nervous. Then again, missing players with names like Cap'n Stupid and The Big Angry might be just what this team needed. Returning to the starting role he had over the past 4 years, CComps made most fans forget about the Dutchman by throwing for three TDs and running for two more as FPC put up it's best point total of the season

After spending most of the week complaining that the team couldn't win if he didin't get the ball more, The Big Angry watch an assortment of players catch TDs in his absence. Rumors have even begun to swirl that he may not even be activated for this weeks upcoming game.

FPC manhandled the Wolfpack this weekend to win their second straight game and move into the playoffs. On the defensive side of the ball, Feaster had two sacks in place of Lee "L Train" Engleman who is sidelined indefinitely with post concussion syndrome and mulling retirement. Johnny M. had the only interception of the day. Picking it off on FPC's one yard line he rumbled 55 yards down field before...well I'm not sure what happened but apparently his wheels came off and he fell out of bounds. It should be noted that not one single member of the FPC defense made even a meager effort to trail him down the field. As The Burns was later quoted, "Money had a long way to go."

Offensively, FPC was virtually unstoppable. CComps put up numbers only The Dutchman could dream about. Delli caught a 10 yard out and turned upfield and made it a 60 yard TD reception. Mitts got his paws on a 25 yard post pattern for his first TD. The prettiest play of the day came in the 2nd half. CComps threw a 40 yard ball that The Dutchman couldn't, and Johnny made the over the shoulder catch that The Big Angry couldn't for a 45 yard completion to the one yard line. and Johnny later punched it in to seal the game.

The Burns again flagged at an incredible pace continuing to prove that against smaller slower opponents, their are few middle linbackers out there that can compete with him.

Pasta Mongillo filled in on kickoffs doing a spectacular job and cementing his role as kickoff specialist extraordinaire.

FPC has now responded with two straight wins since Team Manager Littleton Mitts, Esq. shook up the lineup three weeks ago. The team will travel to The Park at Marbrook for a rematch with Servpro next weekend in the knockdown round. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals. FPC lost to Servpro 27-14 three weeks ago and is currently a 5 point underdog.
