Farley Printing Company 34 - Geter Done 7
After a classic let down game last week against Red Robin, Farley Printing came back furiously routing Geter Done 34 -7 in a game that was over before it started.
On the first play from scrimmage CComps intercepted a pass over the middle and ran it back for a score. On the first play of Geter Done's second offensive series, The Dutchman picked the ball off. FPC marched right down the field and The Dutchman capped off the drive with one of his gravity defying bumbling runs into the endzone.
FPC then forced a punt and The Dutchman, in a thinly veiled effort to favor his high school buddy, found Johnny in the endzone on a well run flag pattern. It could be argued that the TD should have been the Big Angry's but I won't argue that because the BA might get heated up.
FPC 21- Geter Done 0.
Geter Done would get the ball into the endzone to bring the score to 21-7 but that would be the extent of their offense. The Dutchman would keep the BA ratio in play and get Angry his second TD of the season and later would combine with Delli and JoKer for a little razzle dazzle on a 40 yard TD pass.
Leeland MacElroy would notch 2 sacks to bring him within striking distance of the sack record and FPC's two interceptions brought the team total to 12 turnovers - two shy of the single season record of 14 with at least 5 games to go.
Also on the stat watch: The Dutchman passed the Big Angry to move into third place all time on the career hammer point rankings 26 behind Mitts (who's the kicker and shouldn't count anyway) and 63 behind CComps.
Johnny Meatballs is three TD receptions shy of breaking the season record of 5 which says more about the pathetic nature of the FPC offense then it does about Meatballs' ability to hypnotize The Dutchman into only throwing to Concord Raiders in the red zone.
