Farley Printing Company 15 - Mulrooney's 32

Farley Printing lost for the second straight time to open the season at 0-2. While the special teams was outstanding, keeping the team in the game with a 92 yard kickoff return, the offense was again missing in action. Larry "Creme C" Hewes and Joe "Mitts" Farley ran their patented Scissor play on the kick return. Mulrooney's was caught off guard and Mitts was able to make the easy pitch out to Joe Kerr who took it the rest of the way into the endzone. Unfortunately Mulrooney's offense ran smoothly en route to putting up 32 points. Farley Printing's only defensive stop came from a Patrick The Burns interception that not only shocked Mulrooney's, but the Farley team as well. Chris Comps threw a TD pass to an angry Chris Bosch and Shawn Ranuhdelli picked up the 2pt conversion, but all of that was lost in the boos that cascaded through Marbrook Financial Field.

The team has been in hot water ever since letting Roger "Chopper" Componovo walk after last season and sign as a free agent with Charleston, SC. It is not lost on the fans that the last great win for this team was a 34-30 victory over the oft heralded Delaware AC. The win was the last game in which Chopper played for the FPC squad.
