| Farley Printing Company 14 - Blitz 20
In front of a sellout crowd at Marbrook Financial Field, Farley Printing picked up are exactly where it left off...in rebuilding mode. A few people who were supposed to be there didn't show, a few people who were not supposed to be there did. It was a close game but not too close, they were in it but not really. FPC moved the ball with ease but couldn't score and Patrick The Burns showed up midway through the first quarter wondering why the game had already started.
Larry "Creme C. Lover" Hewes ran for one TD. Chris Componovo (making a Keanu-like appearance from the Replacements) showed up and threw a TD to Matt Feaster and made the team look half good. Unfortunately those two also combined for two picks and the defense came up short with 0 picks and a lot of little mitts.
FPC went up 7-0. the Blitz scored and missed the extra point, 7-6. FPC drove down to the 10 and turned it over. The Blitz then scored to go up 13 - 7. FPC turned it over again and The Blitz went up 20-7. After the FPC offense stalled after a few dropped passes, the defense was able to hold and get the ball back. With a nice hail mary from Hewes to Joe Kerr, the team got going again and scored to make it 20-14. Unfortunately they were only able to get the ball back on their own 5 yard line on the 4th of 7 plays. Chris Comps was able to lead the team to midfield and managed to get the ball down into the endzone but no one could come down with the Hail Mary.
